Cory and Melanie will be getting married in two short weeks at Ponte Winery in Temecula! Theydrove all the way from Las Vegas for their session and it was definitely a blast! For the session, we hit up multiple spots that are landmarks that make San Diego so beautiful!
Cory and Melanie- Thanks for being such troopers hiking with us and trying to utilize every bit of light we could get! We can’t wait for the big day!
A few weeks ago we had the honor of shooting Gwen & Armel’s wedding at the Prado. I love the richness of the Prado and Gwen & Armel’s choice in florals and decor just added to the elegance of the room. It’s been a few months since we’ve shot at Balboa Park and even longer since we photographed at the Prado so it was nice to revisit some of our favorite photography spots. Of course, having a pair of good looking, high school sweethearts to follow around made our job that much more enjoyable. I can’t get enough of Gwen’s smile. It’s super contagious! And I especially love how Gwen brings out the softer side of Armel! 
We wish them nothing but love and continued happiness!
Just on a side note, all wedding gowns should have pockets. pockets are cool. oh, and so are m&ms with your faces printed on them!

A couple of weeks ago we had the pleasure of photographing Michelle, Robbie & Malia at the beach. We were seriously experiencing cuteness overload!

A family that fish faces together, stays together!
Peanut butter & jelly, oreo cookies & milk —- things that are great alone but are even better when they are together, that’s how we can best describe Jennifer & Menzies. When these two are together their eyes light up; they are constantly laughing and love is just oozing everywhere. And of course, they are just about the kindest people around and I will illustrate this point by briefly mentioning a tidbit from Monica’s (Jen’s maid of honor) speech. Monica was craving mangoes. On their way up to one of their many travels Jen & Menzies offered to buy Monica her coveted mangoes. The fruit stand was closed but instead of just saying, “Oh well, next time.” Menzies climbed over the fence, grabbed a bag of mangoes and left money with a note on the counter. Now, those are some good friends!!! Risking trespassing charges for a friend…how awesome is that?!!! Needless to say, we thoroughly enjoyed being a part of their day. Now on to the photos!

As we were scoping the Disney Concert Hall for places to shoot both Stan and I noticed Lise & Kyle standing by the entrance seemingly waiting for something. Lise was dressed in a flowing cream dress and 4 inch Louboutins and Kyle in very sharp suit. We immediately thought that this good looking couple must be watching a symphony and put into our mental rolodex that if we ever watched a concert there that we would have to dress just as sharp. But when they called out to us it hit us that they were “our” couple! Needless to say, we were floored when we saw them. They looked gorgeous! And their outfits were perfect against the cool, curvy, liquid-like architecture of the Disney Concert Hall as well as the dramatic lines of LACMA.
We absolutely can not wait to photograph their wedding this December!
In just two short weeks Karen & Eddy will be getting married at the Hilton Bayfront Hotel in downtown San Diego. We can’t wait! But first, we wanted to show some photos of their recent engagement session which took place at the Salk Institute and Wind ‘n’ Sea. The Salk Institute was a perfect backdrop especially since Eddy is an architect! We had a great time exploring the grounds and finding lines, patterns and shadows to incorporate into their photos!

Liza and Roger were married last week at the L’auberge Hotel in Del Mar. We can’t even begin to describe how warm, light-hearted and fun these two lovebirds are….oh, and they’re not hard on the eyes either! The day was filled with so many fun moments like when Roger presented Liza with a ring pop during their ceremony! I love how even between tender moments there was laughter and humor.
The day was upscale yet relaxed. The details were exquisite yet there was a little bit of whimsy tied in. All in all it was perfect and we were honored to be a part of it!

A most spectacular wedding! It was wonderful from the beginning to the end. Each detail so exquisite and fabulous including location and scenery. The tables with pictures the beautiful couple have been in their adventures was also wonderful. But most of the all, the new adventures now as Mr & Mrs… the best to both of you! I love you Dr, Marroquin and I am so happy for you!! Best of luck, most of all I wish you both a long and happy life where the best is yet to come!! Enjoy the honeymoon in Africa!!

Armel and Gwen met back in middle school and started dating in high school! Years later, they are tying the knot later this month in Balboa Park! For their session, we decided to hit up the San Diego fair to bring back some of the good old times we all had as kids. We did some eating, some rides, some games and just enjoyed the moment. Time flew by so fast and the next thing we knew it was closing time!
Armel and Gwen- See you guys REAL soon! We had a blast hanging out and losing track of time! Hope you guys weren’t too tired at work the next day especially Armel. Enjoy the photos!
