LISA & GODFREY | Wedding

Lisa & Godfrey’s wedding at the Rancho Bernardo Inn was a perfect mix of class & whimsy. From their Disney themed favors and cake topper to their custom Harley groom’s cake all the details of their wedding day were truly exquisite!  We are Disney fanatics so their details definitely pulled at our heartstrings!

Lisa & Godfrey — you guys are such a sweet, relaxed and thoughtful couple!  truly meant for one another!  we are sooooooo happy that we were able to get to know you guys and capture one of the most important days of your lives.  we are still super jealous of your 3 week tour of Europe and can’t wait to see some photos!

ED & CHERRIE | Engagement

I’ve known Ed since he was a wee lad so it was an amazing experience being able to witness his unbound love to his fiancee, Cherrie.  It was a pretty chilly day at the Cove so we knew there would be lots of unsolicited cuddling but I’m certain that even if it was 100 degrees out, these two would be just as snuggly!

I am seriously smitten by these two…maybe cause I’ve known Ed since he was just a little boy or maybe cause I love the story of how these two have known eachother since childhood since their mothers are college best friends.  Or maybe it’s because Ed’s sister, Sheryl, hit me in the head with a mini golf club when we were kids! :)  AAAAAHHHHH the memories! Needless to say, I am so excited for their wedding later this year!

MORGAN & ZACH | Wedding

Morgan and Zach first met at the Del Mar Racetrack.  Morgan was with her dad and sister; Zach was with his friends.  Morgan caught Zach’s eye and the rest is history!  It made perfect sense for them to tie the knot at the place where all the magic began! :)  Their wedding was a perfect mixture of sweetness, craziness and more than anything, LOVE!  And not just love between Morgan and Zach but between their friends and families as well.

It’s been some time since our brides were serenaded with “You’ve Got That Loving Feeling” but we have to say Zach and his fellow fireman buddies did an amazing job knocking it out!

SHANNON & JEFF | Wedding

Jeff & Shannon were married at the idyllic Twin Oaks Schoolhouse.  It is seriously one of the cutest places I’ve ever seen!!!  It was a beautiful day and we couldn’t have asked for a better couple to be around. These two are the sweetest couple ever.  From the subtle way they touch eachother to the way they treat their family and friends they are hands down the warmest people you’ll ever meet.

On a side note, we worked with one of our all time favorite djs, Jerry Beck, who, as always, worked his magic on the dance floor.

JONATHAN AND MEGAN | Engagement

November 7, 2009 – 2:26 am

 

 

Jonathan and Megan went with a more retro fashion look for their session!  Megan rocked an awesome red dress that totally went with her red soled Christian Louboutin shoes.  Most guys probably don’t know what those are but since I watch Oprah with Jeannette sometimes..I am now educated on that!!  =)  We had a blast incorporating a picnic theme, some cupcakes, good old Coca Cola in a bottle that was chugged by Jonathan at one point, and just an awesome awesome photo shoot! 

Jonathan and Megan-  We sooo look forward to your wedding next year at the Natural History Museum!    Jonathan…thanks for being a trooper…we know you were pretty nervous but hey….it was worth it!!  You guys looked awesome and thanks for just going with the flow!

APRIL AND RICHARD | Wedding

April & Richard have the coolest job in my book…they are both zookeepers at the World Famous San Diego Zoo!  So where do two zookeepers who love their jobs decide to get married?  The San Diego Zoo!!! :)  Needless to say we had a fantastic time roaming around the zoo and photographing these two.  These guys are just full of fun, super sexy and madly in love!  What more could we ask for?

CHRISTIAN & JIM | Wedding

Well, we must start this post by mentioning that Christian is actually Martha Stewart minus the jail sentence.  :)  All the details of her day were designed and/or created by her.  We were seriously in awe by all the things she did.  She even added a floral applique to her dress which added a finishing touch!

Christian and Jim opted to see eachother beforehand so we were able to photograph them at their hotel, at Cabrillo Nat’l Monument as well as at their ceremony/reception site, Oceanview.  We LOVE the variety of their photographs!

Christian & Jim - what an amazing day!  thank you so much for channeling your inner super model for us! :)  you guys are naturals!  enjoy the photos and see you guys soon!
