DON AND MARY ANN | wedding

Don and Mary Ann got ready at the Empress Hotel and we photographed themas we trekked to the La Jolla Cove Bridge Club, where they celebrated their marriage. These two are just about the most easy going couple on earth. Pretty much everything went off without a hitch and if there were any kinks…you’d never know it cause nothing phased them!  They had a pretty great army of friends & family behind them to make sure things ran smoothly too! :)  That always helps!

Don and Mary Ann-  You guys are so perfect for eachother in every way possible. Thank you for being so incredibly easy going and fun!  Mary Ann, you looked sooooooo beautiful!  We are still so jealous that you spent 3 weeks in Australia for your honeymoon!

Oh..thanks for picking up our light! hehehehe. =)  Our insurance company thanks you too! :)

KELLY & STUART | Wedding

I absolutely LOVED where Kelly and Stuart got married.  It was in a quaint little chapel located inside the gates of Kelly’s old high school.  It was a real treat to be able to explore the interiors of the original buildings some dating back to the early 1900s.  Here’s a fun little tidbit — Bring It On with Kirsten Dunst was filmed here. :)  And though Kelly nor Stuart appeared in that movie they are in our eyes — SUPERSTARS! :)  They were both too easy to work with and just, well, so alive and full of sparks.

Kelly & Stuart  —  You guys are incredible!  We had such an amazing time with you two and all your friends & family.  Stuart, your friends were especially hilarious and had us cracking up all night.  Kelly, well, your gal pals are almost as sassy as you are and i had a great time roaming the grounds with you guys!  BIG HUGS TO LILY and smooches to Pete & Elizabeth!!!

BRANDON AND CARLY| WEDDING

The wedding and reception was held at the beautiful Omni hotel in the Gaslamp District. Carly, being an interior designer, designed her weddingscape and did an impeccable job pulling off their modern, asian theme.  She and her girlfriends even made origami table names in the shape of cranes!!  Oh, their cake actually looked like a stack of pillows..pretty impressive! 

Carly and Brandon- Congrats to you guys again on such a gorgeous wedding!  Brandon…thank you for serving our country again!  See you guys soon!

ROBERT & PATRICIA | Wedding

Patricia has got to be one of the most organized & prompt brides ever!  EVERYTHING ran on time.  It’s always a great thing cause then they get more time for photos! :)  Patricia and Robert also opted to see eachother beforehand which was a double plus!  We shot around the grounds of L’Auberge then ventured down to the beach for some portraits.  It was such a gorgeous day and we could not have asked for a better couple to hang out with that day!

We have to give a shout out to Sharon and her crew for taking good care of us and ensuring that their event ran smoothly.  And we can’t forget to mention Tim who not only had the dance floor going all night but also had the coolest Gobo displayed in the courtyard fountain.

Patricia & Robert — it was an absolute joy getting to know you guys and being there to document your day.   Everything turned out wonderfully!

JOSEPH AND CELINA| Wedding

We had shot their engagement session a few months back and we were really looking forward to their big day.  Joseph and Celina were married at St. Joseph’s Church with their reception at the Hyatt Grand Manchester.  Their ballroom looked fantastic and was one of the larger weddings we photographed this year.  Everything ran perfectly thanks to Lynn and her staff and Darryl did a great job on their day of video.  Jennifer Cole’s flowers looked awesome and Concept’s Event Design topped it off with beautiful linens!

Joseph and Celina- Thanks so much for allowing us to photograph your special day.  We hope it was as good for you as it was for us!!!  hehehehehe.  :)

KURT & JENNI | Engagement

I know we say this a lot but we just can’t help it — we have really COOL clients!  And these two are no exception.  We met them on a Monday.  They booked us on Tuesday then we shot their e-session on Wednesday.   We could’ve shot them all night long (in fact, we almost did!).

So what contributed to the success of this e-session?  Tequila.  Check.  Great attitudes.  Check.  Fun personalities.  Check.  Kurt leaping around on command no questions asked.  Check. Check.

Hey Guys!  We had a GREAT time with you!  Thanks for being super fun and making your session muy caliente!  Can’t wait to show you the rest of your images!

TOM & KATE | Wedding

Tom and Kate were married at St. Francis Chapel with a reception following at the Coronado Marriott.  This was our first time shooting at the chapel and we were pleasantly surprised to see that it was a smaller version of Founder’s Chapel on the USD campus.  Well, they have similar gold altars…that’s about it!  Anyway, we loved it!

These two are just about the cutest couple on earth.  Tom writes love songs for her.  Enough said!  Oh, and he gives her lots of unsolicited smooches…we LOVE that!

Hey Guys!  It was awesome being a part of your day!  Kate, you were radiant that day  — your hair, your dress, your flowers and your very cool, very pink shoes were ever so perfect!  Tom, we couldn’t get enough of your super sexy socks!  Hope you guys had a fab time in Belize!
