EILEEN & RYAN | Hyatt Mission Bay Wedding

Oh man! Where do we start with these two? Okay, before we gush about these two we have to say that hands down they win for best bridal party of all time. Everyone was just so fun, so pleasant and 100% at Eileen & Ryan’s service! (some more than others! wink wink)

Another “award” that we give them is BEST EFFIN’ SLIDESHOW. One of their very talented friends did it for them and we were blown away! Add to that their wedding decor which was an eclectic mix of modern romance perfectly orchestrated by the Bellz & Whistlez team as well as their gorgeous florals & rentals by Floralworks and these two seriously swept every award we could ever come up with.

But more important than anything these two definitely deserve an award for being good people all around. They are so caring, candid, loyal and kind. We are so happy they found one another cause in our eyes they are perfect for each other.

R & E — congratulations on all of your accomplishments!!! awesome wedding. check. brand spanking new house. check. dog. check. misc. check! ;P hope you guys continue to have a beautiful life! One day if we ever need our ribs broken or nursing care we hope you guys are the ones to do it. xoxoxo enjoy the pics! can’t wait to show you part II (desert shoot)!

MOHAMMAD & ZAHRA | San Francisco Engagement Session

We are so excited to share these photos from Mohammad & Zahra’s engagement session in San Francisco! These two are just so beautiful, so playful and so perfect together!

We started their session off at Ghiradelli Square, a place they frequent for ice cream naturally! Then worked our way around the city stopping wherever we pleased (maybe parking illegally once or twice) and ended at Mohammad’s condo. It was great fun & we can’t wait to do it all over again…this time in San Diego for their wedding!

ANDY & BRENNA | UCSD Engagement Session

Top 5 things we love about Andy & Brenna:

1. On a materialistic level, i was totally diggin’ Brenna’s green shirt. Green is fast becoming one of my favorite colors!
2. Andy’s freckles…and we love that Brenna loves them even more!
3. the story of how they started dating.
4. how Brenna is so stinkin’ hot and doesn’t even know it. or maybe she does…and just doesn’t act like it. haha either way, she’s a beauty!
5. their undeniable CHEMISTRY

LINDSEY & TIM | Palm Springs Wedding

From the moment Stan & I met Tim & Lindsey we knew we’d love them. Even when I first met Lindsey at her sister’s wedding that we shot nearly 4 years ago I thought, that girl is not only super cute but super nice as well.

So here we are 4 years later and we could not be more blessed to have been a part of these two’s wedding day. In all the years we’ve been shooting weddings we thought we had seen and heard it all but on Lindsey & Tim’s day, there was a very “interesting” seminar taking place concurrently which led to even more “interesting” conversation in the girls’ prep room that had everyone laughing. A little hummingbird was also seen flying around their reception room for hours but luckily he was caught & released safely. double smiley faces for that one! and tim & lindsey danced to “this i promise you” by n’sync. i have to admit, i have a soft spot for some of n’sync’s songs. seriously, in all our years none of these things as trivial as they might seem have ever happened. so we just have to say that we had some one-of-a-kind experiences with a one-of-a-kind couple!

We had such a great time at their wedding due largely in part to their incredible friends & family who were so full of life & laughter just like Tim & Lindsey. And as we drove 2 hours back home that evening, I admit, we played some N’Sync just to commemorate the day! ;P

LINDSEY & TIM | San Diego Engagement Part 1

Lindsey & Tim both love the cities they live & grew up in so they decided to do part of their session in Solana Beach, Lindsey’s hometown & part 2 in L.A., Tim’s stomping grounds. First up, solana beach! We can’t even begin to tell you how easy these two are to photograph and to be around. They were just full of smiles, and we have to say, Tim’s pretty good at telling fake jokes. And after their wedding we know where he gets his sense of humor — his dad! But, we’ll talk about that in their wedding post.

It was Lindsey’s idea to jump out of our car and take a quick photo in front of the freeway sign that represented the distance between their relationship. We are happy to say, they no longer have to travel that distance to be together!
