MICHELLE & LEI | Engagement Session

All we can say about these two is that from beginning to end we had a great time with them! Whether they were eating ice cream or making dirt angels or just walking hand in hand we had a perma-grin just watching them. We seriously can not wait for their wedding day! We’re certain that their family & friends will be just as fun!

When we told Lei to lean on the tree he thought we said “climb” the tree. What’s funny is he actually did it! we <3 these two!

Lei mentioned that if Michelle gets mad all he has to do is buy her mint chocolate chip and he’s forgiven. How easy peasy is that?!?

RYAN & LYN | Solana Beach Engagement Session

August 11, 2011 – 12:24 pm

I remember walking towards the train station and spotting a couple dressed in complimentary outfits and thinking…please let that be our couple, please let that be our couple! The reason is from a distance I immediately fell in love with Lynn’s back baring dress! I love cute dresses…and shoes…and accessories…and dogs…Lyn & Ryan wore/brought all these things so we knew the session was already off to a good start! We shot their session in Solana Beach since we able to get a little bit of urban & a little bit of beach. We’re not even sure about what was said but all we know is by the end of the session our faces hurt from smiling too much! And we can’t end this post without mentioning Rooney who just might be our most photogenic dog to date!

MATT & COURTNEY | Beach Engagement Session

I love how Courtney’s mom mentioned that she had met Courtney’s future husband when she met Matt. She set up an introduction and the rest is history! See, folks, moms are ALWAYS right!

These two have such contagious smiles and unmatched chemistry which made their session ever so sweet! We can’t wait to shoot Courtney & Matt’s wedding later this year and we’re looking forward to seeing Nicole, John & Cade again!

RYAN & EILEEN | San Diego Engagement Session

One of the greatest things about our job is getting to know our client’s friends & family. Eileen is Brad’s little sister whose session we shot earlier this year with his gorgeous AND funny soon to be wifey, Christine. Brad & Christine are friends with Ben & Vannessa as well as Cheryl and Benny. We love all these couples…now add Eileen & Ryan to this list. These two had us cracking up the entire time! Not only are they insanely good-looking but they both have hearts of gold. Can’t wait for their wedding next year and who knows, maybe Reggie will make a guest appearance on their big day! haha

DAVIN & KATIE | Downtown San Diego Engagement Session

Davin owns The Corner Bar in downtown San Diego which by the way has the most AMAZING ahi tuna burgers anywhere! Naturally, we asked if we could start their session there since this is also where all the magic happened between them. We had an incredible time strolling the streets of downtown with these two and can’t wait for their Skybox wedding later this year!

ED & LEE | Temecula Engagement Session

April 1, 2011 – 1:47 am

Because Lee & Ed love wine so much we decided to hit up Temecula for some wine tasting during their session. If there’s one thing we love more than a little wine while we shoot it’s a couple in love. These two could not keep their hands off each other and would sneak little hugs & smooches when they thought we weren’t looking. Needless to say, they gave us plenty of photo opps!

Along the way we stumbled upon an orange grove and decided to test out their juggling skills. Well, it just so happens that in addition to being an attorney Ed is also a part time juggler at a circus. Okay, I lied. But we were surprised when we asked him to juggle and he simply replied “okay” then proceeded to juggle with great ease. And let’s just say that Lee is not a part time juggler at a circus but is also an attorney.

Lee & Ed — we’re so glad that we got to spend some time with you guys and discover Temecula! You guys are such incredible sports! We won’t post photos of our little “slipping” incident but we gotta tell you while processing your images we couldn’t help but smile when we saw them. Enjoy the pics!

GLEN & DARLENE | Engagement

March 27, 2011 – 5:25 pm

Because Glen & Darlene are high school sweethearts they requested to have their session at Mt. Carmel High School. They are just the cutest!!! And coincidently their outfits matched the architecture of the school. It was a lot of fun checking out their old hang out spots, trying to find their old lockers and also discovering all the newly renovated areas of their school…oh, and also getting questioned by the groundskeeper who just couldn’t understand why we were taking photographs at a high school.

All in all we had a great time getting to know these two better and finding out that we share a mutual love & admiration for our DVRs and of course, our fur babies.

We are so excited for Darlene & Glen’s wedding later this year since we photographed both Darlene’s sister’s wedding and Glen’s sister’s wedding. We can’t wait to see some familiar faces as well as all the new additions to the family!

Darlene & Glen — can’t wait to see what you guys come up with at your wedding! If it’s anything like Dana or Christian’s weddings I know it will be phenomenal! Enjoy the pics!

SUZY & TOMMY | Los Angeles Engagement Session

A couple of weeks ago we had the absolute pleasure of photographing Suzy & Tommy at Griffith Park in Los Angeles. We had no idea how huge it was! We could’ve easily spent 5 hours there. And since we only spent 2 hours there, time definitely flew since we were in excellent company. These two were just so fun, so easy and so into each other that we literally just stood back and enjoyed the ride. And after Susy hiked up the steepest trail in high heels I knew she was my kind of girl!

Hey guys! Looking forward to showing the rest of your images and of course, your big day! Next time we’re in L.A. we might have to hunt you down and force you to catch some grub with us! ;P

LOWELL & EMILIE | Engagement Session

October 15, 2010 – 1:25 am

Chatting via iChat was how Lowell & Emilie stayed in touch during their long distance relationship so we knew we had to incorporate this into their e-session. Time literally flew during their session cause we had such a good time with these two. Towards the end of their session, we got a little tired so we handed our cameras over to Lowell since he’s a photography buff! We can’t wait till their wedding at the end of this month. Hopefully, Emilie will bake some goodies for her big day. We hear she’s quite the baker!
