BISHOY AND NADA | Engagement

When we first met with Nada and Bishoy and Nada mentioned that she loved dogs and wanted to be a veterinarian I knew instantly that she and I would get along. :) Fast forward to their engagement session…we got to know the two of them much better and can honestly say that these two are not only gorgeous but are smart, funny and have huge hearts. They truly are the complete package and they are perfect for one another.

Nada & Bishoy - We are looking forward to your wedding later this year! Maybe your dad will invite Arnold!!!! :) yes!!! hahaha Thanks again for the delicious dinner! Hope to see you guys soon!

CARRIE & GREG | Engagement

Here’s the quick version of Carrie and Greg’s love story!

Girl meets boy in high school.
Boy asks “How are you?”
Girl thinks he said “What do you think of me?” and says “I think you are tall”…she was very embrassed!
Girl and boy date in high school
They go their own way during college
Meet again after college and the rest is history!

Greg and Carrie, we hope we told the story right! =) Greg is currently in the middle east protecting our country and we hope the photos bring you a smile! Jeannette and I had a great time shooting and hanging out after the session! Thank you again for being so easy going and for “La Puerta”. See you soon!

MARK & BERNADETTE | Engagement

One of the many perks of our job is we are able to go behind the scenes in some pretty cool places.  With Mark & Bernadette that cool place was Petco Park.  Mark works for the Padres so we not only got to take photos out on the field but inside the building as well.  It was a blast!  It doesn’t hurt that we were in the company of 2 of the sweetest people on earth with the most infectious smiles!

RICH & GRACE | Engagement

Rich and Grace will forever go down in Trailbrook History as the first couple to get soaking wet during an engagement session. :)  It’s a testament to how fun & carefree these two are.  It didn’t matter that a storm was brewing or that the water temp was probably 50 degrees Rich and Grace were down for anything.  Oh!  And did we mention that they can cook? :)  ahhhhhh…we’re in love!  Thanks guys for an amazing time!! :)  See you soon!

CHRISTINA & JEREMY | Engagement

We were so excited to photograph Christina & Jeremy’s engagement session in New York. New York is one of our absolute favorite cities to visit so they didn’t have to twist our arm to go there! Not only did we get to shoot all around the city but we also had a pretty gifted tour guide…Jeremy! :) Thanks for pointing out some sites for us!

JONATHAN AND MEGAN | Engagement

Jonathan and Megan went with a more retro fashion look for their session!  Megan rocked an awesome red dress that totally went with her red soled Christian Louboutin shoes.  Most guys probably don’t know what those are but since I watch Oprah with Jeannette sometimes..I am now educated on that!!  =)  We had a blast incorporating a picnic theme, some cupcakes, good old Coca Cola in a bottle that was chugged by Jonathan at one point, and just an awesome awesome photo shoot! 

Jonathan and Megan-  We sooo look forward to your wedding next year at the Natural History Museum!    Jonathan…thanks for being a trooper…we know you were pretty nervous but hey….it was worth it!!  You guys looked awesome and thanks for just going with the flow!

Eric and Angela| engagement

We headed to Julian for this fun, romantic e-session with Eric and Angela!  Angela is actually my cousin (stan writing here) so it was a joy to be able to capture some wonderful images for them.  We came upon a sweet lab/ retriever mix named Jacob who was a greeter at an antique store and that is where our session begins!

DELVIN & JOY | Engagement

From mixing some tunes to some shopping cart fun, you will find we had a blast photographing these two! Why the DJ turntable? Well, Delvin use to be a DJ for one of the major FM stations in Southern California and you know…”Girls love DJ’s!!”

JEFF & SHANNON | Engagement

Didn’t we tell you we were on an engagement session roll?  Well, Jeff & Shannon’s session was especially fun for us.  We shot their entire session at their very cute and super cozy house in Hillcrest!  We love shooting at our clients’ homes cause it’s so much more personal and it really gets our creative juices going!  Plus, they met at their home.  The story is actually very sweet. They started off as neighbors then as Jeff walked to his garage to do laundry, sexy lil’ Shannon caught his eye!  Two rents became one and the rest is history! 

Jeff & Shannon -  thank you for allowing us into your home and letting us shoot anything and anywhere! :)  even your neighbors weren’t safe from us!  we had an INCREDIBLE time with you guys!  see you both soon!

HORACIO AND SANDRA | Engagement

Sandra and Horacio flew in from Texas to shoot their engagement session with us and are having their wedding at the Hyatt Grand Manchester next month!  We met them downtown and just had a blast with these two.  These two complement each other so well and are truly meant for each other.  The great perk about engagement sessions is we get to learn so much about our couples.  For example, we learned Sandra is a hair stylist which would explain why her hair looked so good!  Horacio loves Harley’s and he was going to bring his Harley all the way from Texas but unfortunately it didn’t happen but we will get that for the wedding!  SWEET!!!
