Chirag & Jessica met while attending NYU. It was there that Chirag first spotted Jessica in their apartment building and naturally made his move. They are living proof that semi-sober pick up lines actually work! 
After moving from NY to Chicago they decided to celebrate their nuptials in San Diego. So in one week, they had their engagement session, catholic wedding and hindu ceremony!

A recent engagement shoot of a lovely couple! We were truly blessed to shoot such an effortless couple. When we first met with them we explained how some couples have amazing chemistry and need very little direction. They laughed and mentioned they weren’t one of “those” couples. Well, little do they know…they are! And we were more than delighted to witness it.
We can’t wait for their wedding at Calamigos Ranch later this year!
We love it when our clients incorporate a hobby of theirs in their engagement sessions. For Annette & Tim, this hobby was archery! It was definitely a first for us! Tim was even kind enough to show Stan how to shoot a bow & arrow. We decided to play up the theme by bringing an apple to their session. So much fun!!!

Well we knew we would have a blast with these two! Their day was non-stop laughs during their portrait session all the way to the end of the evening. One part in particular that had has rolling on the floor was when Michelle thanked her dad for giving birth to her during their “thank you” speech. Of course, Lei being the character that he is followed up by thanking his dad for giving birth to him as well. They also had some pretty entertaining games (courtesy of their awesome dj crew) throughout their reception that kept everyone smiling!
We also have to give an extra special shout out to Michelle’s mom who created all the fun details & flowers for their wedding. It was pretty incredible!
Also, we worked with a fantastic team of vendors that helped make the day extra special!

We can’t even begin to tell you how fun this family is! Admittedly, their dad did steal the show a bit at the end with his awesomeness! We shot this session at the very swanky Andaz Hotel in downtown San Diego. Since Janissa and her brother, Jazel, both work at the Andaz we had access to some pretty cool spots including the nightclub & wine bar! This is our very first family session 1. without children and 2. in a hotel setting. Even though it was different from the family sessions we typically shoot, we loved this super stylish family and the moody backdrop!
We met Courtney through one of my dearest friends, Pamela. So just through association alone I knew I was gonna love Courtney. Crazy as it may sound, when she smiles…her eyes smile too which, to me, shows true genuineness. Now add Chris to the equation….you know, the guy who makes Courtney smile…a lot. From our short session we learned that at one time Chris could lift Courtney in the air “dirty dancing” style, both are avid Lakers fans (something Stan liked very much) and both are absolutely unequivocally crazy about one another. After their session Stan and I thought, “yep. these two will definitely be having breakfast at Cocos 50 years from now.”
We are so excited to share these photos from Mohammad & Zahra’s engagement session in San Francisco! These two are just so beautiful, so playful and so perfect together!
We started their session off at Ghiradelli Square, a place they frequent for ice cream naturally! Then worked our way around the city stopping wherever we pleased (maybe parking illegally once or twice) and ended at Mohammad’s condo. It was great fun & we can’t wait to do it all over again…this time in San Diego for their wedding!
Top 5 things we love about Andy & Brenna:
1. On a materialistic level, i was totally diggin’ Brenna’s green shirt. Green is fast becoming one of my favorite colors!
2. Andy’s freckles…and we love that Brenna loves them even more!
3. the story of how they started dating.
4. how Brenna is so stinkin’ hot and doesn’t even know it. or maybe she does…and just doesn’t act like it. haha either way, she’s a beauty!
5. their undeniable CHEMISTRY

All we can say about these two is that from beginning to end we had a great time with them! Whether they were eating ice cream or making dirt angels or just walking hand in hand we had a perma-grin just watching them. We seriously can not wait for their wedding day! We’re certain that their family & friends will be just as fun!
When we told Lei to lean on the tree he thought we said “climb” the tree. What’s funny is he actually did it! we <3 these two!
Lei mentioned that if Michelle gets mad all he has to do is buy her mint chocolate chip and he’s forgiven. How easy peasy is that?!?
Round 3 with one of our favorite families! And it was our first time meeting little Malia. These guys are a blast!
