MICHELLE & LEI | Engagement Session

All we can say about these two is that from beginning to end we had a great time with them! Whether they were eating ice cream or making dirt angels or just walking hand in hand we had a perma-grin just watching them. We seriously can not wait for their wedding day! We’re certain that their family & friends will be just as fun!

When we told Lei to lean on the tree he thought we said “climb” the tree. What’s funny is he actually did it! we <3 these two!

Lei mentioned that if Michelle gets mad all he has to do is buy her mint chocolate chip and he’s forgiven. How easy peasy is that?!?

MIKE, KIM, KAELA & MALIA | Family

RYAN & LYN | Solana Beach Engagement Session

I remember walking towards the train station and spotting a couple dressed in complimentary outfits and thinking…please let that be our couple, please let that be our couple! The reason is from a distance I immediately fell in love with Lynn’s back baring dress! I love cute dresses…and shoes…and accessories…and dogs…Lyn & Ryan wore/brought all these things so we knew the session was already off to a good start! We shot their session in Solana Beach since we able to get a little bit of urban & a little bit of beach. We’re not even sure about what was said but all we know is by the end of the session our faces hurt from smiling too much! And we can’t end this post without mentioning Rooney who just might be our most photogenic dog to date!

MATT & COURTNEY | Beach Engagement Session

I love how Courtney’s mom mentioned that she had met Courtney’s future husband when she met Matt. She set up an introduction and the rest is history! See, folks, moms are ALWAYS right!

These two have such contagious smiles and unmatched chemistry which made their session ever so sweet! We can’t wait to shoot Courtney & Matt’s wedding later this year and we’re looking forward to seeing Nicole, John & Cade again!

ROBIN & TRI | La Jolla Engagement Session

Being from San Diego we often don’t take advantage of our gorgeous weather and miles of beaches. In fact, the only time we really even hit the beach is for engagement sessions! After Robin & Tri’s beach session I vowed to visit the beaches more on our free time. It really is beautiful in La Jolla and we are always amazed by the endless photo opps that arise when we are here. Of course, having a gorgeous couple who braved cold waters & rocky cliff sides definitely made things easy & enjoyable!

Robin & Tri - you hereby get our trophy for Best Hollywood Laugh! looking forward to your wedding later this year!

DAVIN & KATIE | Downtown San Diego Engagement Session

Davin owns The Corner Bar in downtown San Diego which by the way has the most AMAZING ahi tuna burgers anywhere! Naturally, we asked if we could start their session there since this is also where all the magic happened between them. We had an incredible time strolling the streets of downtown with these two and can’t wait for their Skybox wedding later this year!

MONICA & DON | Engagement

March 14, 2011 – 5:23 am

Monica & Don met while attending UCSD for their undergrad degrees. We met Monica while she was studying for her Masters at UCSD. A PhD (you have one guess which school) later and now they’re getting married! UCSD definitely played a huge roll in their past and was absolutely fitting for their engagement session!

We had a super fun time with these two. One, cause they are super fun. Two, we got to see their son, Ryan, again. And three, we also got to see one of our past brides, Jennifer, again! She was the ultra cool Aunt who did a fab job keeping lil’ Ryan busy while his parents smooched all over campus!

Don & Monica — we are so looking forward to your wedding in just a couple of months! we should definitely have sushi again…we still owe Don a drink for his birthday! ;P

SISTERS | Family Session

It’s always exciting for us to see how much Dylan & Chloe grow each year. But this session in particular made my heart melt just witnessing how much these sisters love & enjoy each other. Like many little sisters, Chloe copied everything her big sis did. It was adorable! Of course, their little fairy tutus may have helped…just a little.

CORY & MELANIE | Ponte Winery Wedding

October 24, 2010 – 2:40 pm

Ponte Winery is hands down one of our favorite wineries in Temecula. Great food, great wine and to top it off a grrrr-eat couple to share the day with. Their friends & family were so sweet & fun but we have to give a special shout out to Cory’s grandfather who is 95 years young and still a hoot!

Cory and Melanie- Congrats to you both! Everything went so flawless and we had a wonderful time documenting your day for you!
