RYAN & LYN | Solana Beach Engagement Session

August 11, 2011 – 12:24 pm

I remember walking towards the train station and spotting a couple dressed in complimentary outfits and thinking…please let that be our couple, please let that be our couple!  The reason is from a distance I immediately fell in love with Lynn’s back baring dress! :)  I love cute dresses…and shoes…and accessories…and dogs…Lyn & Ryan wore/brought all these things so we knew the session was already off to a good start! :)  We shot their session in Solana Beach since we able to get a little bit of urban & a little bit of beach. We’re not even sure about what was said but all we know is by the end of the session our faces hurt from smiling too much! :) And we can’t end this post without mentioning Rooney who just might be our most photogenic dog to date!

BRAD & CHRISTINE | San Diego Engagement Session

MONICA & DON | Engagement

Monica & Don met while attending UCSD for their undergrad degrees. We met Monica while she was studying for her Masters at UCSD. A PhD (you have one guess which school) later and now they’re getting married! UCSD definitely played a huge roll in their past and was absolutely fitting for their engagement session!

We had a super fun time with these two. One, cause they are super fun. :) Two, we got to see their son, Ryan, again. And three, we also got to see one of our past brides, Jennifer, again! She was the ultra cool Aunt who did a fab job keeping lil’ Ryan busy while his parents smooched all over campus! :)

Don & Monica — we are so looking forward to your wedding in just a couple of months! we should definitely have sushi again…we still owe Don a drink for his birthday! ;P

LOWELL & EMILIE | Engagement Session

Chatting via iChat was how Lowell & Emilie stayed in touch during their long distance relationship so we knew we had to incorporate this into their e-session. Time literally flew during their session cause we had such a good time with these two. Towards the end of their session, we got a little tired so we handed our cameras over to Lowell since he’s a photography buff! :) We can’t wait till their wedding at the end of this month. Hopefully, Emilie will bake some goodies for her big day. We hear she’s quite the baker!

JENNIFER AND MENZIES | Engagement

Shiny red shoes, wet t-shirt contest and magic fingers…aaahhhhhh….all the perfect ingredients for an engagement session! We can’t even begin to describe how fun, easy and immensely in love these two are. We couldn’t have paid for an easier couple to photograph! :)

In just 2 short weeks Jennifer and Menzies will be tying the knot and we can hardly wait!
