GWEN & ARMEL | Prado Wedding

A few weeks ago we had the honor of shooting Gwen & Armel’s wedding at the Prado. I love the richness of the Prado and Gwen & Armel’s choice in florals and decor just added to the elegance of the room. It’s been a few months since we’ve shot at Balboa Park and even longer since we photographed at the Prado so it was nice to revisit some of our favorite photography spots. Of course, having a pair of good looking, high school sweethearts to follow around made our job that much more enjoyable. I can’t get enough of Gwen’s smile. It’s super contagious! And I especially love how Gwen brings out the softer side of Armel! We wish them nothing but love and continued happiness!

Just on a side note, all wedding gowns should have pockets. pockets are cool. oh, and so are m&ms with your faces printed on them!

It’s a bird! It’s a plane! It’s Malia!!!

A couple of weeks ago we had the pleasure of photographing Michelle, Robbie & Malia at the beach. We were seriously experiencing cuteness overload!

JENNIFER & MENZIES | Crosby Wedding, Rancho Santa Fe

Peanut butter & jelly, oreo cookies & milk —- things that are great alone but are even better when they are together, that’s how we can best describe Jennifer & Menzies. When these two are together their eyes light up; they are constantly laughing and love is just oozing everywhere. And of course, they are just about the kindest people around and I will illustrate this point by briefly mentioning a tidbit from Monica’s (Jen’s maid of honor) speech. Monica was craving mangoes. On their way up to one of their many travels Jen & Menzies offered to buy Monica her coveted mangoes. The fruit stand was closed but instead of just saying, “Oh well, next time.” Menzies climbed over the fence, grabbed a bag of mangoes and left money with a note on the counter. Now, those are some good friends!!! Risking trespassing charges for a friend…how awesome is that?!!! Needless to say, we thoroughly enjoyed being a part of their day. Now on to the photos!

JOY ANN & DELVIN | Wedding

June 26, 2010 – 2:59 am

To say Joy Ann and Delvin’s wedding was fun is an understatement. Since they own their own business in the music industry and Delvin is a DJ it was only natural for us to assume that they would have great music at their wedding….and they did! Plus, they had not only one professional dj but 5 professional djs spinning at one time or another.

But more than just the music, these two were surrounded by the coolest bunch of friends and family ever. From the best man joking that Delvin’s dad looked like Kenny Rogers (and he kinda does) to Joy’s sister, Jaymee, throwing touchdowns in the ballroom from beginning to end the wedding was filled with fun, laughter and love.

Joy Ann and Delvin — you guys are a pleasure to photograph and an even greater pleasure to know! We hope you guys had an awesome time traveling through Europe and can’t wait to see photos of your adventures. :) Till then hope you enjoy your wedding pics! see you guys soon!
