ANDY & KIM | Wedding

Okay, so we’re way behind on posting! Slowly but surely, we are catching up! :)  Since we were in Colorado for a week, this will be one a mega slideshow like Sarah and Jason’s below.

July 4, 2008 was a special day for us not only because it is our nation’s Independence Day but because we were able to share it with family in beautiful Winter Park, Colorado. Kim, Stan’s cousin, married the love of her life, Andy, among their closest friends and family at the beautiful and eco-friendly Devil’s Thumb Ranch.

Their ceremony backdrop could not have been more pristine. We couldn’t have prayed for better weather or a better backdrop. Did we mention that the weather reports called for thunderstorms all week? well, it did. but luck was on our side since not a drop fell until AFTER the wedding.

Kim & Andy — your wedding was unbelievable! we are so happy that we were there to hang out and document the week — from beer pong, to the wedding and even our first (and perhaps, last) professional rodeo! you two are incredible souls meant especially for one another. we love you guys and can’t wait to see you again!

Uncle KP, Aunt Myra, Markaty, Karen, Craig and Maddie- We thank you so much for your hospitality during the week we were in Colorado! We had a blast!

These are so AWESOME! We laughed, we cried … and thats just for the first viewing. I’m going to re-watch over and over. You guys have perfectly captured the emotions of the week from beer pong to the first dance, and somehow you made us look good in the the process (thank god for Photoshop). I wouldn’t have picked any other duo to document this day, and it is icing on the cake that you just happen to be related to me! We enjoyed hanging out with you guys and are so glad you could be part of our day. I’m going to watch again now… more comments to come!

    XOXOXO - Kim (the bride)

I cried all over again! It was deja vu… The fun week and joyful emotions are re-experienced with each beautiful photo. Of course, I think Kim and Andy are unbelievable subjects, but Stan and Jeanette, you are truly artists. Thank you. Myra

That was cool and an excellent song to bring back the joyous memories! I can’t believe you put in a pic of my chin hairs, we laughed over that for awhile! So what ever happened to our private photo shoot? Keep up the great work, you guys rock!

Hey Kim- Laughing and crying make us so happy! hahahaa. You looked good all on your own..no photoshop! Thanks for being a trooper that day!

Aunt Myra- Like we said in our post…we had a blast and to be able to not only be a part of the wedding but to take photos makes it that more special to us.

Marc & Katy- we loved the chin hairs…too funny! The private shoot?…those are not for the public viewing! you know how x rated photos can get all over the web..it’s just not safe! hahahaah. =)

Maggie- Thank you for the kind words! It was a fabulous event which made it that more easier to photograph!

What a fantastic time I had working with this whole crew! Every moment working with Kim and Andy was perfect. I have done several other events at DTR this summer and no one else has made such a perfect entrance (as the barn doors swung opened to “here I am, signed, sealed, delivered, etc) nor have I enjoyed a Father’s toast as much. The pictures are perfect and beautiful (as are the couple). I wish you all years of joy and happiness and let me know when you all come back to ski!!

Stan and Jeannete, I always love to look at the pictures you guys take. I always have the best of times with you and Kim and Andy’s wedding was another great memory to cherish. Being able for us family to get together is never easy, since everyone is all over the sides of the earth. I wish Andy and Roger could have joined us. Kim and Andy, I am so happy for you guys. It seems the list of family memebers to get married is getting shorter and my name is starting to creep up that list hahaha. Colorado was beautiful, I’ve only been to the Lau house in winter but to see winter park in Summer was awesome. Thanks for the memories!!!
